Rutter’s releases Spiked Tea Cooler for a limited time

YORK — Rutter’s has joined forces with Lancaster Brewing Co. to create Rutter’s Spiked Tea Cooler. It is the second product collaboration between Rutter’s and Lancaster Brewing Co. and will be available for a limited time at Rutter’s 46 beer locations in Pennsylvania, including three locations in Berks County.

“We’re thrilled to continue our partnership with Lancaster Brewing Co., by launching our second private label beer product, in Rutter’s Spiked Tea Cooler,” Sean Pfeiff, Rutter’s senior category manager, said in a statement. “The great customer response and enthusiasm we saw from our Chocolate Milk Stout, released for a limited time in November 2021, made the decision to work together again a no-brainer.”

The Spiked Tea Cooler is inspired by Rutter’s Tea Cooler, which is made by Rutter’s Dairy. A classic combination of tea and lemonade, the “Spiked” version is brewed using the same ingredients as the original version and has an ABV of 5.5%.

The Rutter’s Spiked Tea Cooler will be sold in a four-pack of 16-ounce cans for $10.99.

Rutter’s is a privately-held chain of convenience stores headquartered in Central Pennsylvania and operates 81 locations in Pennsylvania, Maryland and West Virginia. Rutter’s includes convenience stores, a dairy and beverage company, and a real estate company.
