Main Line Chamber to host HGTV personality Egypt Sherrod

The Society for Professional Women at the Main Line Chamber of Commerce will host its first in-person event of the year — featuring Egypt Sherrod, an HGTV personality and real estate broker. The event,  “Limitless Living — Tapping into Our Highest Potential,” will be held on April 14 from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Drexelbrook Catering & Events Center, 4700 Drexelbrook Dr., Upper Darby.

Attendees will learn why their highest potential requires one to keep their thoughts, mind, and feelings at their highest level. It often requires the adoption of  a new mindset, a new approach to the way we look at things, a press release about the event stated.

A speaker and certified life coach, Sherrod has hosted Essence Magazine’s Wellness Festival, Oprah Winfrey’s “The Life You Want Tour,” and other empowerment, wellness, and business conferences. A graduate of Temple University, Sherrod is a Real Estate broker and CEO of the Atlanta, Ga.-based Egypt Sherrod Real Estate Group.

Her first book, “Keep Calm, It’s Just Real Estate” garnered her an NAACP Image award nomination, WEEN Mission Award, and Black Women In Media’s “Pioneer Award,” among being penned the top selling book in the real estate genre. Attendees of the event will receive a copy of the book, which guests will have the opportunity to have signed by Sherrod.

According to a spokeswoman for the chamber, the number of attendees for this event is being limited for this event. Society of Professional Women event attendance typically ranges from 100-150 attendees.

The mission of the Main Line Chamber’s Society of Professional is to accelerate the advancement and expand the influence of women leaders of all professions and generations, strengthen our business community and support the region’s non-profit organizations. The program is open to all and is not exclusively for women, according to the chamber.
