LifeBrand signs strategic agreement with San Diego Padres

WEST CHESTER —  A  West Chester-based brand reputation and risk management technology firm has just signed a multi-year strategic partnership with the San Diego Padres, expanding the company’s national presence.

LifeBrand helps individuals and corporations identify potentially harmful social media content with secure AI-powered solutions. It then allows the user to edit, ignore or delete the posts.

“The manner with which we present our brand across social media platforms is very important to the Padres organization,” Erik Greupner, Padres chief executive officer, said in a statement. “Through our partnership with LifeBrand, we gain access to innovative technology that offers additional social media resources for all members of our organization.”

The multi-year partnership will provide the entire Padres organization with access to LifeBrand’s technology, the company said in a press release announcing the partnership. In return, LifeBrand will receive a brand presence across the Padres’ digital channels, including signage on the iconic Western Metal Supply Co. building at Petco Park.

“This partnership with the Padres is significant as we focus on expanding our footprint and extending our reach nationwide,” Jemma Barbarise, co-founder and chief operating officer of LifeBrand, said in a statement. “We are confident that the Padres organization as well as their fans will find immediate and long-term value with our platform.”

The strategic partnership with the Padres is the second agreement the company has reached with a West Coast-based professional sports organization over the past several months. In December 2021, the company announced it had teamed up with the Los Angeles Chargers.

LifeBrand initially built strategic sports partnerships in the Philadelphia and Boston markets before reaching in to new markets, according to the company.

In November 2021, the Philadelphia 76ers announced a multi-year partnership with LifeBrand that included making LifeBrand an official team partner. The 76ers was the first NBA franchise to team up with LifeBrand.

LifeBrand’s patent-pending FCRA and EEOC compliant technology offers clients “a safer, more compliant way to perform social media health checks and risk mitigation to protect the privacy and rights of employees and employers, and also provide a secure way for individuals to scan and analyze their social media accounts,” the release stated.
