ROYERSFORD — Healing Energies and Wellness Center, formerly Healing Energies Chiropractic Center, looks forward to the grand opening of its new health, wellness and federal injury center taking place on Thursday, Sept. 29.
“We are excited to expand our commitment to the community,” said Dan Falcone, the Center’s operations manager. “We’ll be broadening our offerings to energy work and wellness.”
Dr. Heidi Pendleton, chiropractor and owner of Healing Energies and Wellness Center in Royersford.
The Center’s move from a smaller space of 1,200 square feet in Royersford, Montgomery County, where it was located since its founding eight years ago, was spurred by its desire to offer a wider range of services at a larger location. The new location, also located in Royersford, is 4,000 square feet.
“We’ve been in the business long enough that we felt good about expanding our space and expanding our services,” Falcone said. “We started with chiropractic and have added on massage therapy, reiki energy work, and more.”
The Center also offers inner child healing, lifestyle coaching, Pranic Healing, ThetaHealing, zero gravity massage chairs, therapeutic yoga and nutrition classes.
“It started off as a dream for a place that’s a one-stop shop that offers alternative healthcare to meet everybody’s needs,” said Dr. Heidi Pendleton, DC, who owns the center. “Here we address the physical, emotional, nutritional, spiritual, chemical and energetic needs.”
As of eight months ago, the Center is also certified in providing case management and therapies for federal injured workers.
“It’s a space if federal workers get injured on the job, like postal workers who might have gotten a back injury,” Falcone said. “It’s hard to get claims approved by the government, so we help them get their claims approved so they can get the care that they need.”
Falcone said the Center helps make the whole process less of a hassle for federal workers.

“The workers don’t have to pay us a thing — once their claims are approved we get paid by the government,” he said, adding they hope to expand and offer more centers in the future since they are currently the only federal injury center in Pennsylvania.
Aside from its federal injury offerings, the Center has a Zen Studio where yoga and meditation classes are held by instructors who rent the space.
“The exciting part is we are actually very quickly bringing on all of the necessary, awesome, talented people and practitioners who are able to give the community what it needs,” Pendleton said. “There are so many things we are offering that deal with the mind, the body and the soul.”
Classes currently take place in the evening, but the Center has an interest in expanding to daytime offerings in the future.
“Since we have a lot of seniors in our community, we’d like to offer chair yoga and that kind of stuff where we can help older people stay flexible and young,” Falcone said.
The Center’s loyal following can be attributed to the personal touch they extend to each client with Dr. Pendleton serving as the main chiropractor at the Center. There is also a nurse practitioner on site.
“We treat you like family,” Falcone said. “For those seeking our federal injury support, they will drive an hour to see us.”

Despite more than doubling the space, Pendleton said the Center’s new location hasn’t lost its positive attributes.
“It’s comfortable, loving, caring, nurturing and inspiring and I think that’s what people need and what I want to bring to the community,” she said.
