Fireside Café in East Earl launched Fireside Fridays this summer.
“This event was created as a way for the community to come together and enjoy the summer evenings,” said Michael Esh, owner of Fireside Café. “Fireside’s goal is to create a place that may be a bit different from most coffee shops and that’s why we plan events like this.”
Held every Friday night for the rest of the summer and into fall, the event features live music, corn hole, door prizes and other fun activities from 6 to 9 p.m.
“We had a nice crowd for the first several weeks and we are hoping that it continues to grow as the word spreads about the event,” said Esh.
Live music features a wide variety of local artists.
“The live music artists that are booked for the summer cover a wide range of styles and genres, so there will be something for everyone. We have anything from jazz to classical to country to blues to worship music,” said Esh. “The schedule is posted on our website and people can watch our social media pages or sign up for our email list to stay updated.”
During Fireside Fridays, corn hole winners receive gift cards. Door prizes will be awarded to several winners throughout the evening. Everyone will be entered to win a Breeo Fire Pit and six-months of free coffee for which winners will be drawn on the last Friday night of the season.

Besides Fireside Fridays, the café regularly hosts popup shops with local businesses and other special events.
Located at 158 Toddy Drive in East Earl near Shady Maple, Fireside Café serves coffee, sandwiches, salads and pastries. Founder’s Corner, which is the outdoor kitchen on the patio that is part of Fireside, serves cheeseburgers, cheesesteaks, BLTs, sausage sandwiches, and soft ice cream.
