The Little Rock Chamber of Commerce has awarded Think Rubix, a public affairs firm aimed at social, cultural and brand innovation, with the Minority Business of the Year award for 2022. The award recognizes the firm’s commitment to community and social responsibility as well as significant growth and job creation.
The chamber also recognized Rubix Managing Principal Tristan Wilkerson as Outstanding Minority Executive of the Year for the significant impact his work and leadership has had on the Little Rock community.
“We conceived Think Rubix with the mission of disrupting the status quo by diversifying the way public affairs practitioners perform critical public engagement work. We endeavored to create a company that didn’t just do good work, but that worked for good,” said Wilkerson. “Nearly six years later, we have grown in tremendous ways. The growth of our team, our growing impact in this market, is deeply rewarding.”
As a culture-first public affairs firm, Think Rubix offers expertise in government relations, storytelling, reputational and issue management, corporate and social responsibility, equity innovation (DEI), and strategic communications.
Both awards were revealed on Aug. 16 in part of the Little Rock Chamber of Commerce’s Minority Enterprise Development Week Awards. The Little Rock Chamber of Commerce celebrates Minority Enterprise Development (MED) Week each year with the purpose to celebrate and recognize minority businesses in the Little Rock area. Nominated businesses go through a rigorous screening process that includes the submission of their growth and financial impact, as well as their social and community impact.
