Student in Pocahontas Wins $5,000 From Sun-Maid for Her School

Earlier in 2022, the well-known raisin brand, Sun-Maid, established a Board of Imagination after picking six kids from across the country to sit on the real-life board.

One of those board members is Madelynn M., an M.D. Williams Intermediate School student in Pocahontas.

In a school assembly on Oct. 12, it was revealed that as part of her selection to the Board of Imagination, Madelynn won $5,000 to use toward future education.

And as if that wasn’t exciting enough, she also won $5,000 and a year’s supply of Sun-Maid snacks for her school.

Congratulations, Madelynn!
