Business is booming in Corona, fashion giant Gap is closing all stores in the UK
The US fashion giant Gap is closing all stores in the UK and Ireland. However, online business will continue. This information was given in a report of BBC online.

Gap has confirmed that it has closed 61 stores in the United Kingdom and Ireland, the report said. According to Gap, these stores will be closed in phases. This activity will run from the end of August to the end of September. Of these, 19 stores are closing this July as their lease agreements have expired.
Gap has not yet said how many workers will be laid off or what effect the closure will have on workers. However, Gap has already started discussions with the staff in this regard.

The company said it was ‘not exiting the UK market’ and that business would continue through a web-based store once all stores closed. A Gap spokesman said Gap was strategically reviewing whether it could do business in Europe. They may also change business policy in France and Italy. The company said it was in talks with another company to sell all stores in France.

When the first gap came in the UK in 1986, there was a huge uproar. Its various designs of clothing are very popular. However, the business was not going well for some time. Gap had to fight to survive in the global online business expansion. The Corona epidemic has weakened Gap.
