An aggregate of 2,461 cows and wild oxen were brought through the Shahpari Island Corridor in Teknaf, Cox’s Bazar on Thursday infringing upon the boycott. The market worth of these creatures is around 23 crore rupees. A gathering of the District Smuggling Prevention Task Force Committee on Sunday chose to stop the import of cows through the passageway.
