Bank to close city branch for redesign

TSB is to convey a significant move up to its branch in Birmingham, Perry Barr under plans it says will change how the bank serves its clients in the city.

Intended to “meet the changing requirements of high road clients”, the redid branch will have a more open and adaptable design so it is simpler to interface with clients.

New innovation including tablets will likewise make it simpler for branch associates to converse with clients on record or calls.

Work on the branch is because of start early September and is relied upon to be finished by the beginning of October.

The branch should be briefly shut for about fourteen days, and will close on Friday September 3, resuming again on Tuesday September 21.

Chief, branch banking, Carol Anderson, said: “There have been huge changes in the manner in which clients do their banking, and we are reacting to that by making a totally different kind of branch. This new design will assist with supporting our clients and give them cash certainty since we can associate with them better.”
